LG V30 to Have Bang & Olufsen Audio and Gorilla Glass 5 Protection

The latest reports from South Korea have once again outlined the premium LG V30 features of the upcoming LG flagship smartphone. While we already knew one of them, that the new device would boast of IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, a host of new features have now been added to the features list.

For starters, the new device will have drastically reduced bezels. The V30 will have a 20 percent slimmer top bezel while the bottom bezel will be 50 percent thinner when compared to the immediate predecessor: the LG V20. This will make the display look bigger and more attractive and will have a better screen-to-body ratio. You will remember that this year's entry in the 'V' series will be the first LG device to have an OLED display while the secondary display has now been ditched.

LG V30 Features

The report by Korea Herald also mentions that the new smartphone will have on board Bang and Olufsen audio, which will be better and more immersive. This will make the LG V30 a better device overall. Also, the smartphone will have extra protection thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This was a part of our LG V30 wishlist as well.

Also, the fact that the device is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance indicates that the new LG device will have a sealed battery. This is in line with the new that the V30 would have a non-removable battery. This battery will support wireless charging.

Bang and Olufsen is a Danish company known for designing and manufacturing high-end audio systems and devices. Since they will also design the audio system on board the LG V30, this means that the price of the device may also rise in the end. We, however, are fascinated with these additions to the list of LG V30 features and are waiting for the release date to approach.
